Turkish Chicken Burger

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tbsp Sprig Tangier
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 burger buns

Yogurt spread

  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves chopped
  • 1 tbsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup baby spinach


  • To prepare tangier spiced chicken breast
  • Season the chicken with a little salt, pepper and 1 tbsp spice powder for 15 min
  • In a bowl break the egg and whisk once
  • Put the flour into a bowl. Season with salt and 1 tbsp Tangier spice powder
  • Dip each chicken piece in the egg, draining off any excess before dipping into the flour mixture
  • In a pan heat oil and shallow fry on both sides till they are done

Turkish yogurt spread

  • In a bowl add finely minced garlic with olive oil and lemon juice. Mix it well
  • Finely chopped baby spinach and add to the bowl
  • Add hung curd, crushed red pepper and mix well. Adjust salt
  • Take one burger bun and spread the dip. Place one chicken breast .add some tomato slices if you want
  • Serve immediately
