Dulce De Leche and Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

For the doughnuts
  • ¾ cup of Sprig Dulce De Leche
  • 1 cup of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup + 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • A pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Cups + 6 tbsp cake flour
For the toppings


  • Pre-heat your oven to 180oC and grease the doughnut pan
  • Add the vinegar to the milk and set aside to curdle
  • In a bowl, combine the baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour and mix well
  • In another large bowl, add the sugar and butter. Whisk till the mixture is pale
  • Then add eggs one at a time and whisk well into the butter-sugar mixture
  • Now add the Sprig Dulce De Leche and mix well to combine; next, add vanilla essence
  • Next, add half the milk followed by the flour mixture; add the other half of the milk and flour
  • Whisk well to make sure all the ingredients combine well
  • Pour the batter into a piping bag and pipe into the greased doughnut pan
  • Bake for 20 min or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean
  • Pop the doughnut rings out of the baking pan 5 min after you take them out of the oven
  • In a bowl, add the caster sugar and cinnamon powder and mix well
  • Then spoon Sprig Dulce De Leche over the doughnuts and spring the cinnamon sugar over it
