Crispy Chicken Sliders with Chimichurri Aioli

INGREDIENTS:

For Serving 5-6 sliders:

  • For Crispy Chicken:
  • 1 Chicken Breast – Sliced into thick square shape or strips
  • SPRIG Chimichurri Aioli
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4-5 Tsp Corn Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Crushed Corn Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • Oil for frying

For Sliders:

  • SPRIG Chimichurri Aioli
  • 1 Tomato – Thinly Sliced
  • 1 Pickled or Normal Onion – Thinly Sliced
  • Cheese Slices (Optional)
  • Crunchy Lettuce

DIRECTIONS:

  • For Crispy Chicken:
  • Marinade the chicken pieces with salt, pepper and 2-3 tsp of SPRIG Chimichurri Aioli for 15-20 minute.
  • Dip the chicken pieces in whisked egg and allow the excess to dip back in the bowl.
  • Prepare a mixture of Cornflour and crushed corn flakes and coat the chicken pieces nicely in this mixture.
  • Heat oil in the pan and fry the chicken on medium heat till cooked and golden brown.
  • Remove from pan and keep aside.

For Sliders:

  • Carefully slice the buns in half and apply butter.
  • Heat another Tawa/Pan and place the buttered side down until crisp and browned.
  • Once done, arrange the veggies and chicken to prepare sliders.
  • Spread SPRIG Chimichurri Aioli on the bun, place the lettuce, crispy chicken, place sliced tomatoes and onions and serve immediately. Add more Aioli as per your taste and preference.
  • Serve immediately and Enjoy
