Banoffee Trifle

  • 2 tablespoon Sprig Banoffee
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup custard sauce
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 3-4 powdered digestive biscuits
  • caster sugar mixed together to create a crunch base
  • vanilla sponge cake cut in cubes
  • chocolate for garnishing


  • Mix the butter, powdered digestive biscuits and caster sugar together to create a biscuit crumble base
  • Take a glass and add the biscuit crumble as a base, pack it tight
  • Top up the glass with sponge cake cubes
  • Arrange bananas on the sides of the glass
  • Pour the custard on top of the cubes
  • Apply a layer of the Sprig Banoffee topping on top of the custard
  • Add whipped cream on top and garnish with chocolate shavings
